BOARD OF DIRECTORS’ MEETING

Date:  July 12, 2006

•The meeting was held at the home of Barbara Ariss.

 

•The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM

 

•Meeting minutes of the June, 2006 HOA meeting were approved.

 

Finances

•discussed and reviewed current financial statement and the 2006-2007 budget.  The new budget was conditionally approved based on some research that needs to be done regarding the legal fee expense line.

 

•A motion was made and approved to increase next year’s HOA dues by $5.00 per year.  2006-2007 HOA dues will be $185.00 per home.

 

•A reminder was made that copies of the HOA covenants can be obtained from our web site.

 

•Approval of the 2005-2006 budget will occur at the next meeting.

 

Architectural and Landscaping

 

•It was brought to the board’s attention that a homeowner’s shingles were replaced with ones that did not meet architectural committee approved requirements.  The board moved to send a letter of covenant violation to that homeowner.

 

Rules and Regulations

 

•The following amendments were made to the existing CCV HOA Rules and Regulations:

            Section III        Home Appearance

Add item F – roofing and siding must meet approval of architectural committee.

 

Section IV        Fencing

                        Add item “D” – changes in existing fencing require approval by architectural committee

 

•covenant violations were distributed and reviewed – a reminder will be sent to homeowners to remove roadside hazards such as dumpsters and basketball hoops.  Leaving them in the street is a state AND county violation.

 

Social

 

•The summer  social will be held Saturday, August 19th.  Plans are being finalized with the Hills at Cherry Creek HOA to have a joint summer social, “Pics in Sunset Park”.  Postcard invitations will be mailed the first week of August.  Board members will research entertainment for the evening.

 

 

The next meeting will be held August 8th at 7:00 PM at the home of Jim Hooten.
