BOARD OF DIRECTORS’ MEETING

•The meeting was held at Cottonwood Elementary School.

 

•The meeting was called to order at 7:30 PM

 

•Meeting minutes of August 9th will be approved by email before the October meeting.

 

Centennial Property Services report

 

•The board reviewed the association’s liability insurance coverage.

 

•Financial statements through August, 2006 were presented.

 

•Covenant violations through September 13, 2006 were presented.  Board voted and approved to begin fine process on home at 5587 S. Lansing Way.  Homeowners will be sent the first fine of $50.00 for not painting their home in accordance with the covenants.

 

•In regard to the Adam’s roofing violation, a motion was made, seconded, and approved requiring replacement of their roof with approved material within one year from the date they receive a letter from the Homeowner’s Association legal counsel.

 

•Board approved a two-year contract with Centennial Property Services effective September, 2006 through September, 2008.

 

Summer Social

 

•As the “Summer Movie at Sunset Park” was rained out this year, we plan on conducting a similar event next year with a “rain date” and alternative location in effect.  Swank Motion Pictures extended the movie rental agreement for another year.

 

 

 

 

CCV HOA Audit

 

•Board discussed financial audit requirements.  A financial audit will be completed as required.

 

Other Items

 

•Barbara reported that construction on Havana and Peakview will be completed by the end of October according to the Cherry Creek Neighborhood Association and the ACCORD.

 

•Various acts of vandalism and graffiti (“tagging”) have been reported. 

 

 

The next meeting will be held October 11th at 7:00 PM at Cottonwood Elementary School in the cafeteria.
