BOARD OF DIRECTORS’ MEETING

•The meeting was held at Cottonwood Elementary School in the cafeteria
•The meeting was called to order at 7:05 PM
Brian Walter, a CCV homeowner, came to make an appeal to the board about the construction of a deck at the home of the Bryce family, his neighbors. He feels the construction of the deck infringes on the privacy of his home. Other concerns in regard to this new-build revolved around the grading plan and storm water run-off in relation to a new sidewalk being poured on the side of the Bryce’s home. Mr. Walter requested the board reconsider new construction approval in the future as to how it will affect neighboring homes. The board decided to make a decision on this matter at the October board meeting.
Ken Kuhar, a CCV resident, asked the board to grant a variance on his roofing material for the back of his patio. The patio section of roof that is to be reshingled doesn’t meet pitch/slope requirements for approved HOA roofing materials. The board will grant a variance if Arapahoe County does not grant a variance first.
August 8, 2007 meeting minutes were approved. They will be posted on the association’s web site.
Architectural Review Committee
Chris Pyms presented another homeowner’s roofing material request. The board will approve based on inspection of another home that they see where that particular material has been used.
Board approved the following colors and roof shingle brands:
Landmark TL Colors to include Burnt Sienna, Cumberland, Moire Black,
Shenandoah, Weatherwood
Elk Domain Winslow colors to include Cool Browncastle, Browncastle, Ravenwood, Stoenhenge, Shadow Gray Grand Sequoia roofing was approved with colors to include Cedar, Charcoal, Mesa Brown, Sage Green, Slate, Weatherwood. Gerard Stone-coated Steel roofing was approved with the colors Country Blend and Driftwood.
The updated list of approved roofing materials will be available for review on the association web site – www.cherrycreekvistahoa.org.
Centennial Property Services Agent Report
Homeowner Association financials through August 31, 2007 were presented to include: balance sheet, profit/loss budget vs. actual, and customer balance summary. This information can be found on the association’s website.
Covenant violations through August 31, 2007 were presented.
Sunset Park / Playground
Build date for Sunset Park is to be Saturday, September 15th with coffee and bagels served at 6:45 AM. The HOA will cover the costs of food and drinks for the day.
