CHERRY CREEK VISTA HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION

•The meeting was held at the home of Mike Wallace

•The meeting was called to order at 7:10 PM

Tom Clark, a CCV homeowner, approached the board to request approval in regard to adding an addition to his garage to serve as a tool room. The brick around the perimeter and the roof of the addition will match his home. Provided the brick extends to the top of the added structure, the board approved his request.

July 11, 2007 meeting minutes were approved. They will be posted on the association’s web site.

Architectural Review Committee

Chris Pyms presented a homeowner’s request to add solar panels to the roof of their home. The Board approved the panels.

Centennial Property Services Agent Report

Homeowner Association financials through July 31, 2007 were presented to include: balance sheet, profit/loss budget vs. actual, and customer balance summary. This information can be found on the association’s website.

The Board unanimously approved increasing the HOA dues from $185 to $190 per year to cover additional costs of postage/mailings, and an increase in trash service costs. The newly proposed budget was approved by the board and will be sent to the homeowners with the President’s newsletter.

Covenant violations through July 31, 2007 were presented.

Sunset Park / Playground

The CCV Parks and Recreation department has received a grant for $30 – 40,000 in upgrades specifically for the replacement of the playground equipment. 30-40 volunteers from the community will be needed to help install the new equipment and the mulch around it. The board has offered to provide refreshments and food that day. Information will be sent to homeowners regarding the date as soon as the board is notified. Build date is to be Saturday, September 15^th with coffee and bagels served at 6:45 AM.
